PROVIDENCE: Photo purchased from the Edward Farber Estate in 1982: This photo was once owned by “ STROBO RESEARCH “ & Edward Farber. STROBO RESEARCH was founded by Edward R. Farber, Frank, J. Scherschel and Robert H. Dumke. Considered the inventors of the PORTABLE STROBE FLASH UNITS for photography. The  company was sold to GRAFLEX Inc. Farber continued to develop new inventions in the area and to write for photography magazines and to exhibit his prints. Most of these photos were part of the STROBO research process, and part of Farber’s personal collection.
