Thumper was one of the major figures in Bambi’s life as a childhood pal who’s friendship lasts into adulthood. The young Thumper was always ready for mischief and impertinence. With his most prominent buck tooth and his cute voice, Thumper’s personality often brought Bambi movie goers to laughter. But they were not simply laughing at Thumper's antics, the audience really liked him, too! That charming character is wonderfully captured in this stunning original drawing by the talented Disney Artist and Historian Stacia Martin. Stacia has celebrated working for The Walt Disney Company for over 40 years and has been honored as both a Walt Disney Legacy and Disney “Archives Angels” award recipient in their inaugural classes.
Stacia Martin began her Disney career at Disneyland as a sketch artist and worked in the Park’s Disneyana Shop on Main Street and The Disney Gallery in New Orleans Square. In recent years she has traveled throughout the world on goodwill and promotional tours, shared her knowledge and talent in a variety of Disney publishing and musical projects, and has continued to create art for Disney Parks and guests.
