VINTAGE CAST IRON TOY-SIMPLEX SCREW JACK. Circa1930'S. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS.
Here is a beautiful, cast iron, miniature copy, or salesmen sample, of the Simplex Screw Jack, made by the same manufacturer, Templeton, Kenly, &Co., that manufactures the large version. These detailed miniatures of real Simplex jacks, could help out at home with many chores, around the house, as the jack actually works, like the larger version. These miniature Simplex jacks, were originally given away at the World's Fair in Chicago, in 1933-34, as a promotion, being made on site. This cast piece was also a toy used by industrious kids, imitating dads. The jack is in excellent condition, some paint loss, the red is vibrant, the black is bright, never restored, all original. The jack works like the large version, threads, peep hole to view the action. The original size jack was used for a variety of vehicles, cars, trucks, trains, etc. This is a wonderful collectible for a toy fan, a car, or truck fancier, just a great survivor. It measures 3'' to 5" extended, enjoy viewing this amazing sample.
