    Description

Conventional paraffin candles are refined products and when burned, toluene and benzene are formed. Of course, in small doses (if you decide to light a paraffin candle every six months), then there will be no tangible harm. But if you, like me, simply adore a lot of candles and the topic of hygge is close to you, then this is a reason to think.

If drops of molten paraffin get on your hands, you can get a burn or a few unpleasant minutes filled with pain (while waiting for the wax to cool on your fingers).

And spots from a paraffin candle are unrealistically difficult to remove. But you can try to do it with gasoline or kerosene. Of course, not exactly a pleasant process, but it will help).

Soy wax is a natural plant product. It is obtained from soybean oil. When burned, such candles, unlike paraffin candles, do not emit carcinogens.

Soy candles are absolutely safe for the skin, they are even massaged with, especially if you add oils such as shea (shea).

Soy candle stains can be removed with regular soap, but this is much nicer than kerosene))

But soy candles have their downsides. As a rule, this is a higher price compared to paraffin wax. But this difference is evened out due to the longer burning time.

Another drawback is the less pronounced aroma. This usually happens when natural essential oils are used. They are very far from persistent chemical fragrances in strength and brightness. But this minus is very controversial, agree?)

As for me, I definitely choose naturalness and soy wax. I care about my health and the environment. And I also can't imagine the New Year without candles, the hygge philosophy is very close to me)
