Vintage USMC WWII Letters- 1st Marine Division- Large Lot of 180+ - 1943 to 44

Up for your consideration is a large lot of 180+ letters and postcards sent home by my Grandfather who served in the Marine Corp during World War II. He was in the 1st Marine Division. He volunteered in late 1943 and was sent to Camp Lejeune. He was later sent to California for more training. I tried to keep the letters in order. A lot were sent daily and are dated. The envelopes accompany most of the letters. He talked about daily life in the letters to his parents. This is a nice bit of history that is time to share with others. The letters are in individual sleeves and were in two large binders. I took the two stacks of letters out of the binders and wrapped them in plastic wrap for shipping (see in photo). I could not ship them in the binders because they would not fit in a flat rate box and would cost too much for shipping. Now I can ship them as they are wrapped in a large flat rate box.
