Up for sale is a one of a kind original production cel setup of Friar Tuck and King Richard used in the making of the classic animated film "Walt Disney's Robin Hood". This image is from the finale of the film. It is very rare to find King Richard art from this film. The cel is embossed by Walt Disney animation.
A similar cel setup to this one, just a few frames apart, sold at Heritage auctions in 2017 for just under ,800! (See the last image in the pics.) I think that this cel is actually better than the one sold at Heritage, because the Friar Tuck image is better. My price is 0 less than what that cel sold for!
The cel is framed and matted to an overall size of 21" x 17". The image area is 14.5" x 11".
